Tunnel Vision by Susan Shaw

She has to pass through the train underpass tunnel on her way home and it has a group of men in it.  She ignores them the best she can and runs home to her mother.  Then shots are fired...

Margaret K Elderry Books, a Simon & Schuster imprint, gave me a copy of this ebook for review (thank you).  This book will be available August 16th.  Make a note on your TBR list so you don't miss it.

Liza's mother pulls her down into the grass, but Liza is shocked to find that Mom has been shot!  Liza screams, help comes, and they take her mother to the hospital.  By the time Liza and her Dad get there, Mom has died.  While Liza is sitting there shaking her head and refusing to believe something like that could have happened so quickly, the FBI is getting involved in the case.  And then Liza and her Dad find that they can never go home again...

This story is action packed and filled with danger.  They can trust no one, and journalists are running the story wondering where they have disappeared.  No place is safe for them because they are offering a reward for them.  Soon they split from the witness protection program and don't even talk to the US Marshalls that are supposed to be keeping them safe.

With the murderers and the press on their trail, life is not very pleasant.  This story has the ring of truth in it, though.  It's the story of a young woman and her father trying to stay alive and it's chilling.

If your teen is into action/adventure themes with the odds against you, this is a perfect book for them.  Why not share a copy with your reader?

Happy reading.
