The Night Watchman Express by Alison DeLuca

Miriam never saw much of her father because he worked so much.  So when he died, she really didn't mourn him.  She was alone, but she always had been.  However, this quickly changes...

The author shared a copy of this ebook with me for the blog tour I'm participating in (thank you).  You can visit the site listed below to get details on how to purchase it (or win it).

Miriam is independent and has her own mind, which doesn't sit well when intruders arrive and suddenly become her "guardians".  They take over the house, displace her, and begin trying to figure out how to take her father's business over completely.  He may have been her father's partner, but he's more greedy than he need be.

When the guardians arrive, they bring their son Simon and his friend Neil to the household.  Miriam gets a governess, which is a blessing in disguise.

Nothing is what it seems.  And the story is just beginning in this first volume of the series.  It's entertaining, grabs your attention, and has lots of action.  I enjoyed reading it.  Why don't you try it and see what you think?

The very best part of this blog hop is that you can check out 50 books in all.  Here's the website to read about them:  http://indiebookcollective.wordpress.com/

Another good thing is that this helps the troops.  It's Veteran's Day today, let's remember those who are fighting for our freedom and often giving their all for us.

Did you know that over 300 overseas troops have requested books?  And the Indie Book Collective is going to make sure they get them?

This Veteran's Day weekend, November 11th-14th, any reader can participate in the charity that gives back to the troops!

Over 50 authors will be giving away free eBooks, one for each person who leaves a comment on their blog and one for a soldier or veteran.

The purpose: To give away as many books as possible to the soldiers and veterans who request them.

Just visit the Indie Book Collective blog from November 11th-14th to see each day's authors and join in on the blog hop. You're guaranteed to get tons of books and so will our brave men and women who serve our country with honor!
Happy reading!
