Her brother has died, her father works very long hours to forget and her mother lives in a halo of drugs in her bedroom and doesn't even know she's there most days. Then she's close to a murder and her life gets even worse...

This is a well written story that flows smoothly. Lo is a main character that is it's easy to care about. She has nothing, she's different, and she's trying to survive. When the killer comes after her, you hope she can run fast enough to escape...
This one is a page turner that keeps your interest from beginning to end. It's a cold hard gritty world out there and Lo is doing her best to survive.
