Up Dog by Hazel Hutchins

Think of two word commands with one of the words being "up" and you have the context of this book.  It's a lovely look at the life of a puppy.

Annick Press and Net Galley shared a copy of this story in ebook form with me for review (thank you).  It has been published and will be in the early readers section of your local bookstore.

Anyone who has ever had a puppy knows that they have some bad habits.  They love to play in water, love to run, and love to be loved.  This short story showcases typical dog antics and shows how his owner deals with it, all with just two words per page.

Fanny did the illustrations and they're precious.  This will be a book your little one will want to read again and again, just to see the graphics and laugh about the puppy's play.  I enjoyed it and I'm a grandma in age.

Happy reading.
