This is the follow up to Nowhere to Run. Liv and Auggie are doing well together, but Auggie's twin, September, now has a problem. When she gets a drawing from grade school days with the same saying on it as the dead bodies piling up from a serial killer, she suddenly realizes her life is danger.
September (usually called Nine, the month of her birth) can think of no one who would have a reason to hate her or kill her. The problem is the killer is not a normal person and his reason doesn't have to be rational.
Nine runs into a guy she dated briefly in high school and finds she still has the hots for him. However, he could be a suspect. While she struggles with trying to find the killer and suspecting everyone, she also develops a new romance and finds out she has a brother no one knew about except her father. If that's not enough to throw her off course a bit, she then decides to follow up a clue by herself. Unfortunately, this clue leads her to the killer...
This story includes romance, murder, a twisted mind, and a dysfunctional family. It's busy, holds your interest, and gets you involved with the characters. It's also a fast read because you want to know what happens next! Why not settle down in a comfortable chair and follow Nine on her journey?
