OK, I'll admit it. This author has stolen my heart. His children's books are just wonderful and his illustrations are so cute they could make you cry. I really admire his work. This story is no exception.
Schwartz & Wade sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you). It has been published and would be a nice Easter gift or a good gift for someone who need some love shown in a hug.
Hugs are powerful stuff. They can restore our faith in ourselves, help heal skinned knees, share grief, and just plain comfort you. I think we need more hugs in the world.
Duck is feeling sad and he needs a hug. The other animals are offering all kinds of games and fun things to do, but he won't do them. Finally they ask him what he needs and he gets a group hug. What could be better?
Why not share this sweet book with your little one? Be sure to give them a hug when they are done reading it. Everybody needs a hug.
