A May Day Anthology by Genie Gabriel, C. L. Kraemer, Rosemary Indra, Christine Young

This is a nice compilation of four novelettes about fairies.  There are good fairies, bad fairies and odd fairies.  What more could you want?

The authors and Goddess Fish Blog let me read the ebook of these stories for review (thank you).  The book is available anywhere ebooks are sold.

Here's a brief look at each story in the book:

Highland Miracle -- Christine Young

He's a fireman walking through Central Park when he sees something resembling the Tardis from the Doctor Who series.  (I don't watch the series, but I still know what a Tardis is!)  When the little dog lures him into the machine, he's whipped through time back to early years in Scotland during a May Day dance.  He dances with a beautiful young lady and then finds out he's betrothed!

Defying the Odds -- C.L. Kraemer

Misbehaving fairies lose their magic.  They are bound and determined to get it back no matter what it costs other people in their world.  I like how the author dealt with them; it's very ironic.

Love in Bloom -- Rosemary Indra

He's come home again and is working in his mother's house.  He has a cute little daughter with him.  She's widowed and has always been in love with him.  With two fairies and a little girl who wants them to get together, how are they going to fight it?

No More Poodle Skirts -- Genie Gabriel

I think this one is my favorite.  There were all good, but this one has a mix and match family with odd characters and even some magical ones.  Everything that can go wrong does, but they just keep persisting and winning their battles.  How could you not root for them?

This collection was well worth a read.  Why not get a copy for yourself and settle in for some "feel good" stories?

Christine, C.L., Rosemary and Genene will be awarding an E-Book copy of A St. Patrick's Day Tale to a randomly drawn commenter during the tour.   And the authors are now offering a $10 Amazon GC at EVERY stop to a randomly drawn commenter, in addition to the eBook giveaway.

Follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better your chances of winning. The tour dates can be found here:

Happy reading.

Yes, time once again got away from me and I'm late to the party. But I wanted to say thank you to Jo Ann for hosting us and taking the time to review our anthology. I love the idea of a book faerie!
