His little boy tries to get him to move, but Santiago stays.
Abrams Appleseed sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you). It has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Santiago is cute little puppy that loves his boy. The boy tries to entice him with his toy, a walk, and some of his favorite food. Nothing makes Santiago move. That frustrates the boy and he shouts Santiago's name! When his little sister wakes up in the crib, her brother suddenly realizes why Santiago is staying.
With colorful illustrations and a simple text, this is a very nice picture book for young ones. I grew up with a dog so I can relate to this story. Spotty always took care of me. Santiago is taking care of his family.
Any child with a pet should enjoy this story. Why not give it a try?
Happy reading.
