Sniff! Sniff! by Ryan Sias

This is a picture book written for the very young about a dog who has a very BIG nose.  Everything smells good!

Abramsappleseed sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you).  Check with your local bookstore to get a copy.

Have you ever had a puppy?  They have such an excitement about life they are hard to control.  It gets even more interesting if you have a bird dog.  They have an instinct to follow their nose.  The puppy in this story is not a bird dog, but he has a big nose and he follows it.  All over everywhere...

This is a short book, but it doesn't take long for the puppy to get in trouble.  He snitches breakfast, escapes to the park, plays with other dogs and finds garbage to roll in before noon.  What fun!  You watch the little boy and his mother run after the dog, with Mom panting more than the dog before long.

This a cute tale.  Children will love the puppy's inquisitiveness and have fun watching his antics.  It made me smile.  I bet they do, too.
